Kimono is an orphan little girl who was raised by her grandmother after her mother died giving birth to her. She was named Kimono after her Mother’s Kimono dress that she was covered with after she was born. During the years of her life, Kimono has grown up to be ambitious, and strong, yet shy and humble. She used to always help her grandmother in the kitchen, observe her techniques, and memorize her recipes. Day by day, Kimono developed a strong passion for food and built a dream inside her heart of owning her own restaurant. She shared her dream with her grandmother one night, and it wasn’t too long till the dream became a reality and kimono owned a restaurant.
IRORI is a meeting place where food and drinks are shared with friends, IRORI a traditional sunken fireplace used by ancient Asian travelers as a cooking method and as a source of heat.
Our menu is inspired by the remarkable journey of those travelers. We want to take you through the experience by building an actual irori and crafting exclusive world class Pan-Asian dishes.
